Le chapeau mesure jusqu’à 7 cm. Il est turbiné, blanchâtre puis bleu noir, déprimé, fibrillo-feutré radialement.
Son hyménophore [1] a des aiguillons blancs puis bruns.
La chair est douce.
Il est tronconique, parfois confluent.
