Le chapeau mesure jusqu’à 8 cm. Il est faiblement écailleux, beige pâle à brunâtre sur fond jaune verdâtre à ochracé olivâtre.
Ses lames sont étroites, jaunâtres pâles puis brunâtres.
Le stipe est à anneau labile sous un anneau fugace, concolore au chapeau.
Sa chair est blanchâtre à citrine ou brunâtre.
